(REQUEST) My Best Friend [The Loud House]

Happy May, everyone!
Since tomorrow marks the 2-year anniversary of The Loud House I thought I'd make some new Loud House pictures in order to celebrate both today and tomorrow~
For the first drawing of today, I decided to do the second of the Loud House requests I received from that journal, this one featuring Lisa and her new best friend Darcy from the episode "Friend or Faux"!   Thank you, , for requesting this!

"Friend or Faux" is easily one of my favorite Loud House episodes. Lisa's my 4th favorite sister behind Luan, Luna, and Leni, so it was nice to see an episode focusing on her for a change. I could pretty much relate to her towards the beginning when she realized her social skills were lacking and all her attempts to make friends failed, as in real life I have found that though I am a friendly and extroverted person I have trouble forming friendships, caused in part by my demeanor The ending of the episode was especially heartwarming, when Lisa really did become friends with her sweet, innocent classmate Darcy. I definitely want to watch this episode again really soon - it was the sweetest and cutest thing!  
 
You know what else is sweet and cute?! These two darlings just on their own!   They're so quirky and I was ecstatic when drawing them. Darcy's pretty fashionable for a 4-year-old, and she was surprisingly easy to draw, especially with this new style. I think the new style also does Lisa much more justice than my old style as well - the smaller, round eyes leave enough room for her glasses so they don't look strange like how they have in the past.  

I'm actually going to celebrate The Loud House throughout the month, as I'll be making all sorts of TLH-themed drawings to celebrate the show turning 2 - including the rest of the requests from that journal, assorted fan art, and rhythm game characters in the Loud House art style!
